American gaming company Limited Run Games (LRG) community manager Kara Lynne was terminated from her position because she followed Catch Up host Ian Miles Cheong, Libs of TikTok, and YouTube host Blaire White.
“Upon investigating a situation, an employee was terminated,” said LRG in a tweet.
“Our goal as a company is to continue to foster a positive and safe environment for everyone.”
LRG respects all personal opinions, however we remain committed to supporting an inclusive culture. Upon investigating a situation, an employee was terminated. Our goal as a company is to continue to foster a positive and safe environment for everyone.
Transgender activist Purple Tinker said she wrote the tweet documenting Lynne’s allegedly transphobic behaviour, which led to her being fired.
“Since then, I have been deluged with targeted online harassment,” said Tinker.
“I’ve been called a ‘degenerate freak,’ a ‘tranny faggot,’ and a barrage of other slurs.”
Tinker said the irony is these people say they support free speech. In fact, she said she used her free speech to complain about Lynne.
If the people directing abuse her way believed in free speech, she said she “wouldn’t be being targeted for using mine.”
“What this is really about is their transphobia,” she said.
Cheong acknowledged Lynne had been fired for following him.
“A video game company called @LimitedRunGames fired @KaraLynne0326 because some nut job got offended over the fact that she follows me and @libsoftiktok,” said Cheong.

Libs of TikTok said LRG “fired an employee after a trans activist pressured them to.”
“The employee’s crime was simply following me, @stillgray, and @MsBlaireWhite on Twitter,” said Libs of TikTok.
“I will never give this company a penny.”

This ordeal comes after Twitter decided to remove user Wesley H. Christ from the platform on December 8 after he said he would harm Libs of TikTok.

There was a problem reporting this.
I mean, Limited Run Games does realize that Blair White is a transgender right? Its hard to not see this as a attack on Kara’s political beliefs rather than actual trans phobia based on that fact alone.
The person who was fired needs to sue that company till their shareholder’s great grandchildren have to beg in the streets for a bowl of soup.
Pretty sure the fired employee will be able to launch an easily winnable lawsuit over this.
