As per reports Microsoft is preparing to upgrade its search engine by introducing a AI-powered version of Bing that will make use of the artificial intelligence works behind OpenAI-launched chatbot ChatGPT. According to the claim from the San Francisco-based technology news website, Microsoft could release the new feature that is AI-Powered Version of Bing by the end of March. Microsoft upgraded Bing to challenge search engine Google.
Microsoft announced in a blog post from last year that it intended to incorporate OpenAI’s DALL-E 2 image-generation tool into its search engine Bing. OpenAI declined to comment, while Microsoft did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment. Microsoft provided US$1 billion in funding to the San Francisco-based artificial intelligence startup OpenAI in 2019. In order to build artificial intelligence supercomputing technologies on Microsoft’s Azure cloud computing service, the two have established a multi-year agreement. On Nov. 30, OpenAI made its ChatGPT chatbot development available for free public testing. The chatbot is a piece of software created to replicate human-like dialogue in response to user input and can answer a wide variety of queries while mimicking human speaking styles.
Recently, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella says cloud and AI could help in economic growth. Presently, the use of the cloud is gaining significant pace, claims Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella, and calls the cloud a big game changer. Nadella, who is currently in India, addressed Microsoft Future Ready Leadership Summit in Mumbai and shared the importance of cloud artificial intelligence. This week, he has appointments in Delhi and Bengaluru as well. During his time in India, he will meet with important clients, entrepreneurs, developers, teachers, and students.
