Texas Tech Red Raiders football recruiting national signing day live updates – 247Sports

Today marks the first day of the NCAA Division I college football early signing period. Texas Tech is expected to sign several recruits throughout the day, beginning around 6 a.m. (CT), which you can preview HERE.

“I’m gonna tell you, you ask me next week–I’m gonna be really excited,” McGuire said. “Got a chance to sign the fastest class Texas Tech has ever signed. I know there’s been some classes probably ranked a little bit higher, probably not much higher, than the one we’re about to sign but it won’t be faster. It might be the fastest class in the nation whenever you put the times down on verified times. so you know, Wednesday is going to be a lot of fun.”

Texas Tech’s 2023 recruiting class is currently ranked No. 24 in the country, and No. 4 in the Big 12 according to 247Sports. The Red Raiders have will have another five weeks to bring in more talent by the regular signing period in February. Texas Tech will also be able to add talent through the junior college ranks and the NCAA transfer portal between now and next season.
