An insider called ViewerAnon who has previously leaked accurate information about HBO's The Last of Us and the existence of Crash Bandicoot 4 is now claiming that Naughty Dog is currently working on The Last of Us Part 3 with Neil Druckmann as director. It's not been confirmed by anyone right now so take it with a pinch of salt, but ViewerAnon has a decent track record and it would be surprising if we didn't get a continuation of Ellie/Abby's story.
It's been reported for a while now that God of War is getting a TV show adaptation, but it's finally been confirmed by Amazon itself which has revealed the show will be coming to Amazon Prime at some point the future. Another report has also claimed that the show will follow the events of God of War (2018) and will be headlined by Wheel of Time writer and executive producer Rafe Judkins. The Expanse's Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby also on board as writers, as is game director Cory Barlog.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is looking better than ever on consoles thanks to the game's recent current-gen update, but PC players are a lot less happy. Many players have been reporting several issues with the game, including problems with ray tracing, DLSS, and game crashes. Ray tracing in particular seems to be slowing everything down dramatically, causing the game to crash in some circumstances.
We've got a couple of Final Fantasy-related stories to rounds things out, as a new interview with Zack Fair's Japanese voice actor Kenichi Suzumura has revealed the character will play an "active role" in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. When questioned about Rebirth, Suzumura claims that he can't speak too much about it since Zack has a role to play in the title. This was pretty much implied from the ending of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, but we now have confirmation that Zack is back.
Finally, in much sillier Final Fantasy news, those getting tucked into the Crisis Core remaster have been chuckling at a rather strange oversight, as a Getty Images watermark has been found on several paintings throughout the game. After a bit of digging, it was discovered the painting is actually real and was painted by John Crowther, an artist from the late 1800's. Now his work is in a Final Fantasy game, the true end goal for every 19th Century artist.
